What is SEA:Act for Impact?

Act for Impact is an established support program for active and aspiring social entrepreneurs. We support teams that are working in the area of education in German-speaking countries or that plan to launch an initiative in the near future. Whether it’s early childhood education, social mobility or lifelong learning, we will help you to shape society through education. We award a total of 48,000 € in prize money.

We are incredibly happy with the funding and input of ideas we are receiving through Act for Impact and are looking forward to the journey with SEA.

Winning the award gave us the crucial boost and courage we needed to become social entrepreneurs by starting MUT Academy. Thanks to the generous financial support, we were able to plan long-term and focus entirely on implementing the program without needing to spend too much time on fundraising.

With this prize money, we’re able to reach even more young people and to present ourselves in a more professional manner.

Diana Knodel App Camps, winner of 2014

Winning the award gave us enormous momentum. For us, winning Act for Impact felt like being knighted. Since then, more clients and partners in and outside of the educational landscape have noticed our work. We want to thank the Akademie for their great appreciation and their professional guidance.

The Act for Impact award was like rocket fuel for our start-up! But even more important than the generous prize money was the recognition of our idea. Anne’s consultancy on our project was worth its weight in gold. Working together is straightforward, personal and very helpful.
